I'm just doing a little research about my father's side of the family. Over the years, I have heard stories about my great grandmother, who was married to a stone mason who also owned a bar called the White Horse in about 1880? Anyway,the story goes that she fell in love with and ran away with the bartender while her husband was out on the road building something out of bricks. I seems like so many families have similar names, but with slightly different spellings, it's hard to know if you're on the right track. Thank you.
